Cheap Hotels near London (LCY) Airport

Great hotel in a good location. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are well decorated and beds are very comfy. Lots of great restaurants nearby and number 35 bus stops right outside takes you to Liverpool Street station, Only downside for me was the rooms are not soundproof as described!! Slightly disappointed by this, as I am a light sleeper. Other than this it’s a good choice.

Unfortunately the air conditioning in our room was not looked at to be fixed until our final evening, despite informing staff when we checked in. The bedroom and bathroom are old, tired and outdated and need to be redone or painted. Walls were cracked, bathroom was very tired looking and could be fresher. Breakfast was fine. Staff were friendly and helpful.

While the staff was helpful, the property was not very well maintained and there were little to no amenities. The light in the bathroom was out, there was visible dirt in the rooms, the bathrooms smelled of mildew, and you have to pay five pound to rent a bath towel. Overall, not terrible for the price, but very minor adjustments could greatly improve the quality of the stay.

From the moment I stepped into Locke London in Canary Wharf, the experience was wonderful. The staff at check in were knowledgeable and helpful, showing care and interest in me as their guest. The lobby was very inviting, with plenty of places to sit and relax, as well as a cafe and a bar should you want refreshments but don’t want to stray too far. The accommodation was a higher standard than I expected for the price I paid. The room was light, bright and inviting with plenty of space and storage solutions. The kitchen provided everything I needed and it was lovely to be able to prepare my own food and store it for the occasions I didn’t want to leave the room. It had all the amenities I could want, a fabulously large television, a fridge, and a luxurious shower. The bed was divine, one of the best hotel beds I have ever had, and I slept brilliantly. I came to stay when it was over 30 degrees, and to be able to use the fantastic air conditioning which was reliable and had multiple settings, was a real treat. Not only that, but the hotel is in a great location, with a quick walk to the nearest tube station should want to go further afield. I throughly enjoyed my stay here, and would highly recommend!

Everything was clean, really lovely breakfast as well, the staff were very friendly and helpful! And it felt like a very luxury experience. We really loved our stay and would love to come back again!
