We enjoyed our stay here. The room was on the bottom floor and right near the pool. The location is the best! Parking is available at the hotel. Not very many spots but we got one and walked everywhere. Scooter rental place is super close. You must try breakfast at Blue Heaven or the Crepe place across from Blue Heaven. We ate at Sloppy Joe’s which was good also. Fishmonster fishing charter was a lot of fun and I found the tickets off of Groupon. Book the back of the boat it is well worth it!

The big positive for Amsterdam’s Curry Mansion Inn is the location. A block from Duval street so access to eateries, shops, and rental outlets (golf carts, bicycles, etc.) is terrific. The Inn has clearly seen much better days. The condition of the property appears to be consistently deteriorating. Basic maintenance items have been ignored for some time - the front yard is patchy and bear of grass here and there that invites others with pets to wander in and let them defecate on the front of the property. There are exterior pipes and drainage from the balconies that clearly have holes in them. One half of the main floor outside balcony has seen some care, while the other half has not. The ceiling on the same balcony has been poorly patched - and while painted, is obviously out of place. There are rooms just inside the front door full of boxes covered in dust - why? Very simple items like the run leading into the front door is aged, filthy and tattered. Last but not least, the 2 American flags are faded and are in desperate need of replacement. Come on people - have some pride here at a minimum! Our Room (#110) was on the 2nd floor - and the carpeting I am convinced was from the 60s and hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time (think very low pile, akin to indoor/outdoor quality); the towels while plentiful were dingy and yellowing; the comforter on our bed we think had been washed but the filling was bunched up and “lumpy”. I could go on but no more room here
Front door rug - stained, torn - not a good first impression.
Balcony drainage pipes with visible holes.
A very faded US flag - replace and have some pride please!
Spotty, neglected front yard - where passersby would wander in to relieve their pets.

The pool loungers were awesome and it was great having towels for the pool and rooom self service. You are right downtown in the middle of everything so yes there's going to be noise but we had no problem sleeping and felt very safe in the area! We will definitely be back!

This property needs an infusion of cash to repair and paint the massive amount of woodwork and decks. The room we had was large. Clean. Comfortable bed. Wicker furniture and lamps that had seen better days. Big shower. Decent towels. Keurig coffeemaker but no K cups. There is no check in desk. You are sent check in information including the code to your room. It serves its purpose but if this had been for a romantic weekend I would not have been happy.

Despite the charming antique Mansion and adjacent buildings being obviously dated and deteriorating, like everything old in Florida, our room and linens were spotlessly clean, the air conditioning worked well and the water pressure was great. Our spacious ground floor room had clean tile flooring (though we heard that room 108 on the second floor had gross old, dirty carpeting and the fridge was covered in stickers). The LOCATION was A+++ walkable to most everything and on-site parking was a major PLUS.! Our room looked out over the delightful little private pool in the central courtyard. It's like a serene oasis on a hot day. There's a complimentary modern washer and dryer poolside with cabinet containing Tide detergent, fresh towels and replacement toiletries, along with clean poolside restrooms and a private enclosed shower. George's is the bar and minimalist cafe on the front porch of the Mansion and if you only want a simple pastry and mediocre coffee, it will do in a pinch for breakfast. Their espresso drinks are a bit better. However, SO MANY stellar options are only Google and a few minutes walk away. (Especially Sunny's for coffee and breakfast, Bruschetta Francesca for anything fresh Italian dinner) **NOTE: There is a wheelchair lift from the front parking area to the pool deck level, so rooms on that level may be more accessible. Many have double doors to enhance potential access as well. Confirm with management when booking. DIY: Staffed by unseen ninjas.

No staff to talk to, thought we was staying in curry Mansion, back had holes in it that you could fall through, nothing outside was wiped down I had a white shirt on it got dirty, porch rails where dirty, location was good but would not stay there again, said a free breakfast but found out we had to pay for it... Overall very disappointed at the stay..
