Kailua Ski Resorts

I loved this place. My stay this time involved 2 hotels - this one and another nearby. Unfortunately I spent the majority of my time at the other one when I should have stayed here. I did get lucky to have a balcony on both stays, but there are not many in the building, so beware that you likely will not get one - in which case the room is still big enough, but I do love having a balcony when staying in Hawaii. The great thing is this place does not charge a resort fee - and it is definitely not a resort, but for the millions of times I've stayed in Hawaii, this place was great for the money. I normally stay on the east side of Waikiki - closer to the zoo/Diamond Head - and this was my first time staying this side. It is much quieter on this side. It's a plus/minus - it's wonderful to have it be so quiet and not hear all the garbage trucks in the morning like when you are in the middle/east of Waikiki. But it was also kind of sad to not see/hear/be in the middle of all the action. Both are good depending on the trip. I'd definitely stay here again. All the staff were super nice and welcoming.

Very cute hotel and it feels new comparing to others in the area. Just a 5 min walk to the beach. I recommend!

We loved the access to the beach and the restaurants in the hotel were great. Overall the hotel was great we enjoyed our stay. If I had to critic anything is that it’s very much a night life area, lots of music after 9pm so don’t expect an early quiet night. Reminded us of staying on the Las Vegas strip. We didn’t mind it but we didn’t take our kids.

Loved the Alohilani Resort. It’s right across the street from the beach, the partial ocean view was perfectly plenty. We were treated very well by all the staff.

Will choose this hotel for next visit

Rowena from the breakfast buffet was very attentive and friendly, chef Ronnie was very friendly and made sure there was always food .Customer service from the front desk and Leo from the baggage counter was quick and helpful. The hotel is very close to the beach, dining and shopping . My favorite was the housekeeping made our stay very comfortable. We always came back with a clean room and fresh towel to use !
