We absolutely love staying at The Twin Fin every time we visit Waikiki. The breakfast at the Coconut club is superb. The beach candy store downstairs has beach, chairs, umbrellas, paddle boards, and kayaks all included in your reservation. The only downside to the hotel is how pricey the breakfast option is. It’s around $30 per person per day and the AC inside the hotel room can sometimes make your room feel wet. Other than that, having Tiki’s downstairs is an absolute gem and it is super close to the beach and walkable to everything in Waikiki.

to preface, we’re not picky people and booked the hotel with an open mind we will only be sleeping here. i’m not one to complain, but i’ll be super honest here because i’d want to read honest reviews! first off, it’s open concept in a way, the floors are all open to the outside like a motel or apartment complex. the walls are paper thin, the hotel is creepy, for some reason I honestly didn’t feel safe sleeping there which is so unlike me. I didn’t see any security measures taken or any security overall. there was a constant howling noise from the balcony as well, which i saw so many people wrote the same! staff was so limited you’d forget they exist. the bathroom didn’t seem to be cleaned well, the shower had hair in it, the toilet base was dusty. also, no normal blankets or comforters??? some of us sleep cold lol it would be nice to at least have that option? other than that, it’s right across the street from the beach, near a ton of stores and restaurants. but we wouldn’t book here again. it was our first time in waikiki and to be honest we didn’t like the beach either. it was extremely crowded and honestly not much space, at least in our area. which inevitably results in it feeling crowded. we walked the street and passed many different hotels and realized we definitely should’ve booked elsewhere, it feels like a motel. to reserve a cabana at the pool $60 a day & they have fancy smoke/vape detectors in the rooms, $500 fine per occurrence just FYI!

The property was pretty clean and maintained well. You can tell it is an older property though. The staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was within walkable distance or a cheap uber ride away. We had a rental for a couple of days and parking was a disaster though. Luckily the Waikiki Banyan Parking Garage was nearby!
