Good value for location, view. Hotel itself is very functional, staff very friendly. The carpets and upholstery are a bit stained, bathrooms a bit smelly. A drawer was broken in our dresser. Though you get a balcony to yourself, they are not private. I loved the ocean front view, and leaving our door open to hear the sound of the ocean. The noise from Kalakaua is loud (party busses, street cleaning, motorcycles, etc). Loved that the beach was right there, and being close to Waikiki-adjacent restaurants on Kapahulu. Would stay again.

Awesome location on Diamond Head end of Waikiki Beach. Walk right across to the beach. Easy, quick walk to the other end of Waikiki Beach and all the local restaurants and beaches. The room was great. Would stay again.

The first room was very dirty. Handprints on the wall. Sticky stuff on the tables and really overall not clean. We did call and they were going to clean but moved us instead to a bit bigger room and it was clean. But overall in general the rooms all lok to be pretty run down. Attempts to make look nicer but its not.Whoever painted had marks of the wall color on the ceiling and lots of dirty look around the edges of the baseboards and sink.Beds were comfortable, shower worked great and the Ocean front room was amazing- but it was our 25th and we were excited for it to be a bit more upscale like the pictures Alll in all it worked.

The room assigned to us upon check-in was terrible! I was shocked that they would even consider renting that room room. I immediately complained and they put us in a different room, but we had to wait till the next day which was a huge inconvenience. The hotel in general is all banged up there are imperfections everywhere from paint chipping to dented baseboards, scuff marks, everywhere, dirty carpet. I spilled some water and got a towel from the bathroom, wiped it up and the towel was black absolutely filthy carpet. They probably never wash the carpets. The elevators were extremely dirty like they never clean them. Walls are very dirty. Escalators were also very filthy never cleaned The water dispenser by the check-in area was absolutely disgusting filthy. I would never consider using that water machine I didn’t use any of the refillable bottles. I didn’t trust them. The hotel room is a type where you would not dare walk around without flip-flops and every time I would accidentally touch the walls with any part of my body I quickly wiped it off with a washcloth, the towels did not smell fresh , a few of them had foul odors. I don’t think they properly sanitize their towels most hotels towels smell like a little bleach, but these had foul human odors. I feel like I got ripped off paying for the resort fees. We did not use any of the amenities. I asked if we can get our money back and they said absolutely not. I feel like I was cheated specially not using the water machine

Yeah not many highlights.... we're on a floor with the space that does holidays parties which is extremely loud when we're trying to sleep at night. Anytime we try to call the front desk or even room service from the phone the hotel provides in the room, no one answers. The walls are paper thin, causing us to be woken up multiple times in the night from other rooms. The room cleanings were awful as well. I would leave dirty towels on the floor and the cleaners would just pick them up, fold them and Have us reuse them. They did the same with sheets and Pillows. We asked for new ones and Never received them. Overall not a great hotel, especially for the price we're paying.
