Compare Cheap Hotels in Kahului

For the first 3 nights, we were forced to endure staying in a lower floor room. The room was not very well-maintained (e.g., broken thermostat) and was very noisy. It also offered very little privacy considering its proximity to the pool area. They finally moved us to an upper floor room, which was significantly better in all aspects. We absolutely loved the beach and the area, and the staff were very friendly. However, the dining options at the hotel were beyond terrible in both quality and price. Beach facilities were also very expensive: $75/day for a beach umbrella was a shock for us - we go to at least 2 seaside vacations every year, and this was the first time we had to pay for umbrellas in the same resort we were staying at. Also, the two pools were very small, crowded, and visibly dirty. Overall, we managed to enjoy our stay by minimizing our interaction with the resort and its amenities.

The hotels staff was friendly, and the property was beautiful. The location was great with restaurants nearby.

We enjoy staying at the Maui Beach Hotel. Its descent price, friendly staff, clean property....great to stay when popping in from the Big Island.
