Very disappointing
Had one of the worst experiences I have ever had at this hotel. The staff at the front desk made up lie after lie about my room and since they don’t communicate none of their lies matched. When I arrived I was told they were trying to contact me to let me know my room assigned to me had “air conditioning” problems so I was placed in a room with queen sized beds and a parking lot view, not the king size bed and oceanfront view. As I was conversing with another guest they too were told their room had the “same issues” and it was clear this hotel overbooked itself and could not care less we planned this for months. The next morning new staff was on and when I mentioned the air conditioning problem I was told there was no issues reported and they weren’t sure what happened just knew it looked “weird” I was in another room and they too were trying to contact me to tell me they would be moving me. Meanwhile my phone never once rang nor did the one in my room. Every time I spoke with the front desk staff they were very unprofessional and talked to me as if everything was a joke and tried laughing it all off and discounts should have solved it all. There was no seriousness to their mistake nor any real sincerity everything was just laughed off in a joking manor but it wasn’t a joke to me.
