We would stay again

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Despite 2 Christmas parties taking place in the hotel this did not disturb us. All staff we dealt with were very friendly, approachable and helpful. Our stay was great and we would stay again.

Happy overall but needs to look at soundproofing

Room was lovely, staff excellent. Have stayed before and each room is slightly different . This one (314) was a little dissapointing as the drain from the bathroom on the floor above ran straight through our room apcyou could each time the toilet was flushed or aomeone ran the shower - it was very noisey.

Excellent hotel for a short break

Great stay in the Voice Grand Central. Welcomed by reception staff, lovely ambiance, room. clean and comfortable. Close to amenities, restaurants and shops. Only downside, residents can't always get a seat in the Champagne Bar. On this occasion we did manage to get a seat but it was very busy due to a function

Fine Victorian Hotel

Offered snacks on check-in, lovely sizable, warm bedroom insulated from the possible noise on Gordon Street, as well as the cold. Everything worked well, including the shower, and an excellent Scottish breakfast the following morning, with potato cakes Lorne sausage, black pudding and haggis, as well as sticky porridge. Allowed a late check out, sad to say farewell.

This is really a great hotel, so much so that I am confused by how inexpensive it is. The building is magnificent and the location is terrific. If I ever return to Glasgow, I’m definitely going to stay here again.
