This is a nice property conveniently located near the central rail station and financial district. The breakfasts were a bit tired and frankly boring.

Loved the center city location. Disliked the parking arrangements. The Expedia description was incorrect as there was no onsite parking. The hotel was beautiful. The rooms excellent. The breakfast included was superb. While we had some problems with parking, the hotel staff corrected it. Enjoyed walking around the center city and seeing the large scale art/graffiti.

Lovely hotel, great service but lack of good sleep

Was a stay to be close to a train station for an early Monday morning long distance train journey. Check in was smooth however they were unaware I had prepaid using hotels.com but was quickly fixed, £50 deposit paid. Only bad point for me was there was a function on with loud music and I could clearly hear the guy on the mic and the people cheering happily. I am all for folk having fun, but Sunday night and this lasted until 0045am (music stopped at 0030) but man on mic was thanking the world. Maybe being on second floor didn’t help but wasn’t ideal for me.

Reserved a premium room with two twins. Arrived, given a single full. Returned to check in, where they offered me a standard with two twins or wait an undetermined time for the premium twins. Took the standard, asked for a refund for the difference. Reception didn’t know how to do that. Fine. Whatever. Get to the room… only one towel. Fine. Whatever. We stayed. We slept. It was ok.
