Staff was amazing, super helpful. Hotel was clean and comfortable!

The room was spacious and clean. We had everything we needed for the room except a baking pan, but when we asked about it, it was promptly brought to our room. Only sorta negative thing about the stay was parking. If you want to park directly in front of hotel, you need to pay a daily $15 valet fee for them to park it for you, other wise you will need to find a spot across the street or in other parking lot next door to another hotel that shares. We opted to pay daily it wasnt that big a deal. Kids really loved it. The beach was right there, and had a great balcony view. The staff was polite and very friendly. This hotel earned a spot on out short list of hotels we will be coming back to in the future. Also note housekeeping only comes every 3 days but we mainly kept the place clean ourselves and anytime we needed towels/wash cloths to swap out it was no problem. If you plan on using the sofa bed do like us and bring you a set of sheets for it. We wasnt sure if they had sheets for that or not and never asked being we brought our own.

The Island is Amazing! My kids & I played back & forth in their 2 fantastic pools for hours every day, some days for 8 hours & it just flew by we had such a wonderful time! They have the very best beach chairs & large sturdy umbrellas & their beach is so clean & beautiful! We love walking in the water with buckets & watching the colorful treasures wash up as we dive to catch them before the ocean grabs them back (shells we bring home & make frames of for every beach trip we take: every year at The Island since I was in diapers & with my kids since they were in diapers!). We love the remodeling they've done; it’s truly added to the overall experience. The bar off the lobby is open & inviting & they have karaoke which the kids & I love. We do a different song each time & either make it soar or seriously bomb but we laugh & have fun with the other guests & new friends we've made. We love the movie nights in the warmed pool; we can float in the water & smell the ocean air while watching a family favorite- there's no better way to see a movie! We have a big family so we get rooms across from each other on poolside & oceanside which is best bc we love the view of the mountain & falls & the Gulf. We love The Island & it's a home away from home! We travel many places but The Island is always on the books each summer bc so many of our most cherished memories were made there!

The location

My family and I had a great experience at Hampton Inn Pensacola Beach. Breakfast was different and delicious everyday. My family and children felt safe and the hotel had easy access to the beach and shopping areas were walking distance. We will definitely will be staying for future visits!

I like that its "old school". No frills but clean safe and great beach front. Never a problem here. Ive stayed half a dozen times and never a problem. It is an older hotel so if u want fancy. Keep looking. But i love this place for price, location and beach view/access
