The staff specially Marcello was really a good host with us during the check in process. He explained everything and recommend us nice restaurants around tha area. The only complain was that when i booked the room I did not Notice it said "Shared Bathrooms" because when you click the photos you do see bathroom inside the room. But everything was clean and neat.

Had a wonderful stay from October 2–7, 2025. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The room was comfortable, and the shared facilities were consistently clean and well maintained. I highly recommend Loggia Fiorentina for anyone visiting Florence!

We booked a room labeled “private shower” I guess shame on me for not realizing toilet was not included in that. The second you walk in there’s a flickering light over head dimly lit and it does not get much better from there on. As we were checking in the concierge was an odd bird and kept making suggestive jokes to my wife. As a traveling American this was not what we were used to it was definitely more of a hostel type environment with shared bathrooms. My wife and I ended up staying with her parents as I ate the cost of this “hotel” because it was so dirty and scary. Ended up booking a separate hotel room for the last night we were there we just couldn’t do it.

Let me preface my review by saying that I have had a knee replacement and have arthritis problems. While the building has an elevator, it’s reserved for resident use only. The stairwell to access the hotel has a hand rail on the elevator side but stairs inside the hotel has no handrail at all. This made climbing the stairs very difficult and unstable for me. We selected the room that included the en-suite bathroom. I am 5’7 and hubby is 6’3”. The toilet is so close to the wall we had to sit on the toilet sideways, as our legs were too long to sit on it straight. Very cramped and tiny. Also, the plug for their hairdryer cannot reach a proper outlet, so unless you have an adaptor for the small plug, it’s useless. It’s an old and inexpensive place, I get it, but it appears to be no reinvesting profits into the hotel. Our bed was extremely hard. Linens were fresh. The staff was great but all things considered we would not stay there again. May be a decent for young travelers with more resilient bones… I woke up every morning aching, before I even stepped out the door. The location is good; close enough to sites yet far enough to have quiet nights.

Do not go here

The only positives about this prison looking hotel is the good aircon and good location. I would not recommend this hotel for various reasons: Tv didn’t work Wallpaper peeling off the walls Bed was squeaky Pillows are paper thin Shower had no water pressure Communal toilet at times didn’t have toilet paper Power sockets hanging off the walls Door lock could be easy to break in No elevator
