Excelsior Springs Hotels with Parking

The hotel location/rooms/view and amenities were all great. Unfortunately, during our stay there was an issue between guests causing the pool to shut down until almost check-out the next day. (The main reason we chose it) The situation was not handled properly by management & the front desk staff were pretty rude too. I was told I could get late check out by one just to be told a hour later by another they weren’t doing it anymore. She then proceeded to call my room “making sure I was out” even after I left my cards at the desk. Beautiful property but sad to say after that ordeal I will never be back.

The room was clean but not what we were expecting from the pictures it showed. The area was a little sketchy. Didn’t feel as safe as we have been at other hotel locations in the Kansas City area. The good thing about the property is that we had a room booked there for 3 nights, but had a death in the family, so needed to cancel a couple of those nights. I had gone through a 3rd party company, and they wouldn’t let me cancel. I got a hold of the property and asked to cancel two of the 3 nights. They refunded the whole amount and I rebooked for the one night that I needed.

Clean, great staff. Some construction nothing major. I guess like everywhere coffee shop prices are so high. Miss beverage stations here. Coffee and soda are complimentary from waitress but not convenient like beverage station.

The toilet paper holder and the towel bar fell iff the wall within a few minutes of getting there. The beds were horribly uncomfortable and the coffee area served yellow water both mornings I was there.
