Reliable, dependable hotel

Always a great stay at Stoney Creek. Clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff. We come through KC a few times a year and we always stay at Stoney Creek. Especially like the walking path around the pond behind the building.

We stayed here about a month ago and upon our return trip back home we made it a point to stay here again. Wonderful facility, this evening we enjoyed the beautiful pool and watched the sun set over the lake in back as we enjoyed a walk on the paved path by the lake.

Best hotel ever

Second time we have stayed at this hotel, we love it so much we keep going back. Food is fantastic, rooms magnificent, cleanliness was amazing. Enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool and spa. Went to the bar and the drinks were great. We plan on going on another trip there in the future.

No sound proofing and beds uncomfortable

The hotel was full of kids- which is fine- but there was next to no sound proofing so we heard everything. Screaming, running up and down the halls, slamming the toilet lid in the room next door- everything, at all hours. We also looked forward to the kid free pool hour from 10pm-11pm but kids were definitely there during that time. The beds were also extremely uncomfortable.

I liked how quiet the room was. The outside area looks nice, but we replaced over the parking lot. I was not informed I would not have a bathtub before hand and it was requested. The place was overrun with children. The pool and hot tub were in accessible at 9:30 PM due to way way too many people/children. There were eight children and four adult adults in a tiny hot tub when we came down. And it was so loud in the pool room. It was deafening with children running and jumping in and out of the water. Most aged 8 to 12. Few parents were watching them and plenty of people were drinking and carrying beer containers we called the front desk because there were no towels thinking they would see this and put a stop to it and the door has been propped open. They did bring the towels after 30 minutes but didn’t say a Word. I will never stay here again. The comfort Inn down the street was much better.
