Escondido Winery Accommodation

We had a good experience. However, there seemed to be some miscommunication between the front desk and room service. It took multiple follow-ups over a couple of days to get a crib delivered, and in several other instances we had to contact staff multiple times to get things taken care of. Also worth mentioning parking is $28 per day and the property is not responsible for the safety of your vehicle or for any damage or theft.

Room was decent, but needs an upgrade. Carpet looks stained, if not replaced, cleaned at least. No refrigerator or microwave in the room…apparently not all rooms come with that which is weird. Parking is $40 a day, breakfast at cafe was $15 for continental buffet and the ala carte was ridiculously expensive. Just grabbed Starbucks in lobby with muffin. Very close to trolley station and Fashion Valley mall.

The location and price point worked for us while in town for two nights. Check in was easy. There was no one at the front desk on Saturday morning around 6:30 am and the lobby door was locked. The breakfast lady was helpful and the area was clean. We hade a toilet that was not working properly one evening and called the front desk. They informed us there was no one on site to help and that they were the front desk and could not assist us. They need a better plan in place to deal with issues on weekends. Guests need toilets and showers and running water. The AC was fabulous!

The accommodations are impeccably maintained and offer a wide array of recreational facilities for children. The unit itself is generously proportioned, and the bedding is of exceptional quality.
