Fine if you need a cheap place to stay.

Parking was terrible. Spaces were too tight and the room was way too hot when we got there. Even with the a/c unit on, didn’t get very cool.

This property is definitely showing signs of age. Very humid inside the property. Rust spots on lighting in the room and even on bed frame. I look at every mattress of a hotel I stay at because I am freaked out by bugs. No bugs or anything like that, but I pulled back the mattress protector and there was a hole in the mattress revealing the springs. The mattress looked quite old. The staff was nice. The pool was very small and looked cloudy, so I didn't even want to go in. The room was clean though and sheets were clean. Hot water in shower as well. Walls were very thin. Its a very basic place to lay your head and at least it was clean. Its just showing its age.

Comfortable but could be better

Parking is open and easy. Front desk people were friendly and made check in easy. Room was comfortable good working air conditioner, fridge and microwave in room and an ok breakfast served daily makes my kids always excited to stay. But there were some negatives, the beds are not comfortable, extra firm mattress that bounces a lot when anyone moves, and did a number on our backs and hips. The tv remote didnt work well, pushing buttons multiple times before a channel would change and lord help me it would always go the wrong way. The elevator wouldnt always work, and with a stroller it was a headache. The room keys would deactivate easily. We got locked out twice. And the breakfast options were ok but hard for the poor employee to keep full when a large group of teens were all staying there. We tried to get in there early to beat the teens lol. Probably would pick another hotel next stay just to avoid some of the inconveniences. But not a major regret

Green Tree is located in a commercial area with auto dealers, gas stations as well as other hotel/motels. That said, it is a couple of blocks from the Mission Bay park providing access to Mission Bay. For the price it is an older facility yet very clean and well maintained.

Initially, the property appeared to be OK maybe a C in rating but after the first night the toilet flooded. I called front desk for maintenance and they brought me a plunger. I said OK so I plunged it. Everything was fine. The next day I went to the restroom, flushed the toilet and it flooded again. I go up to the front desk and tell someone and she said she’d let maintenance know they came figured it out clean the room. Everything was fine. The next day I went to the bathroom and it flooded again went back to the front desk. Let them know this guy said he’d send housekeeping. I told him I tried them already. Maintenance might be better. He said he’d get one or the other, I said fine came back plunged the toilet moved on the last day flooded again. $115 a night is too much money for me to have to plunge anything much less the toilet backing up every day. No one came to fix it several times find another spot or you’ll turn your vacation into hard labor.
