Awesome! You've had your leave approved. Now all you need to do is say hasta la vista to the daily grind for a while and book your ticket to Echelon!

It sits 200 kilometres to the northeast of the country's capital, Washington.

There are some world-renowned attractions in the surrounding region. For example, 14 kilometres northwest of Echelon is Camden. From here, you'll be in an excellent spot from which to discover Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell Center.

You'll discover a number of fantastic sights sitting 11 kilometres away in Gloucester City. We recommend allocating some time to soak up the University of Pennsylvania, Reading Terminal Market, the Ben Franklin National Memorial and everything else this place has on offer.

Spend an hour or two collecting seashells at Ocean Beach or Ortley Beach.

Head beyond Echelon and you'll be treated to some unique natural attractions. Just 45 kilometres away, Tyler State Park is a great place to get out into the fresh air. We also suggest Neshaminy State Park, 25 kilometres away from Echelon.

Remember to pack some blue and white clothing so you can encourage the local baseball team, the Camden Riversharks, at Campbell's Field. Located 16 kilometres away in Mount Laurel, the venue is also home to the Rutgers-Camden.

Whether you're striving to challenge yourself on steep slopes or just make it to the bottom of the run in one piece, New Jersey has the slopes for you. Make you way to either Bear Creek Mountain or Spring Mountain Ski Area.

Be sure to head to other nearby sights, such as the Pine Valley Golf Club and the Ritz Theater. These are situated 3 kilometres southwest in Stratford. Don't want to give back the rental car just yet? The Garden State Discovery Museum and Clementon Amusement Park are in Gibbsboro, 3 kilometres to the southeast of Echelon.

Travellers often head over to Westmont. This destination is 8 kilometres to the northwest and pretty close to Cherry Hill Mall, the Merchantville Country Club and Harleigh Cemetery. If you're planning to stay a little while, don't forget about Marketplace at Garden State Park and Barclay Farmstead Museum.

Seemingly endless security checkpoints, long lines and delayed flights. Airports can be very taxing. Give yourself enough time to find Dover Air Force Base Airport (DOV). Situated 90 kilometres to the southwest, it's the nearest terminal.
