No parking available. Valet service promised was absent

Hallways smelled like smoke, there was basically no hot water since it took 10 mins to come on which is when I finished and was getting out. Also additionally the toilet seat was broken

The building is a nice example of 1930s style and architecture, but it shows serious signs of wear and tear in the hallways and in the rooms. The rooms are modest at best. The "fitness center" is basically none existent, the staff isn't very knowledgeable of the local area, I waited for 20mins at valet to drop off my vehicle when I arrived, the breakfast buffet was cancelled some time ago, but they still advertise it as an offering... needless to say it is very overpriced for what they're actually offering.

The only pro I can really say is the downstairs is really beautiful, but the rooms are definitely not worth $500 a night. I called twice about the AC not working. The room stayed at 76 even after they came up twice to look at it, and the toilets wouldn’t flush had to call them after they came up to look at it. They got it to flush, but then we proceeded to have issues with it not flushing, but it was so late. We just didn’t bother to call.

Downstairs smells like fish

Hotel showed its age. Room was ok but basics was missing.
