Hotel location was excellent for our needs. We could walk to all the places we needed to. it's a cool old hotel with lots of history. Also, because it was Mother's day I guess, we got a nice price. They want $35 for an early check in, which we did not pay, or the check in is 4:00 PM which I think is quite late. We just dropped our bags and went out for the day. The room was a decent size but windows in our room were so filthy dirty we could not see out of them and even though we were on the 9th floor the street noise level was very loud. and the topper was we woke up in the morning to a text telling us there was no water in the hotel at all! NO shower, no toilet flushing, we had to use our bottled water (lucky we had brought some from home because they didn't offer any) to brush our teeth! no offer of anything for the inconvenience either. In fact, they didn't even mention it or apologize when we were checking out until we did then all that was said is Oh, I know right! we did stop for a drink at the LB lobby bar after we returned from a play at night and the bartender there was very nice. Overall, it was OK but I don't think I'd stay here again.

Hotel is quite walkable to most downtown or Inner Harbor shops, restaurants and bars. Property has a slightly upscale in the lobby, but the room is quite mediocre. Fraying carpet, bathroom, although clean, had tiles that were pulling away from the wall and looked moldy, shower head didnt fully to center of the tub, ceiling paint in the bathroom was peeling. Also only one waste basket in the room. If a conveniently located, no-frills hotel with a decent price point, then look no further than Lord Baltimore.

Fun vintage hotel

The hotel is vintage with lots of character. The people in the bar and bistro were super friendly and accommodating. The room was good except for the towels which were thin and scratchy. The biggest issue was communication. It's very hard to get through to anyone through the automated system. There are also extra charges for parking and early check-in.

We love he Lord Baltimore! The location is excellent, the staff is friendly and the rooms are comfortable. The only issue we experienced this last visit was that check-in seemed a bit disjointed and chaotic. It was a busy Saturday, but you prepare for that in advance.

A bit tired, but centrally located stay

Centrally located, which was great as we were there for a baseball game and aquarium visit with friends. Being around the downtown though - it didn't have a great neighborhood feel. The convention center, arena, high rise office buildings, etc. felt like no one lived around there. Not a lot of spots to eat at or pop in for breakfast. The staff was very nice, but the roof was only open after 5p. We had such beautiful weather and were hoping we could hang out up there earlier in the day. The room we had was facing a building, so we had no natural light, which I disliked. All the lights in the room were fluorescent too, which made the lack of natural light even worse. The bed was comfortable and I'm happy we had a mini fridge to keep some sodas in. Generally clean - there was one armchair in the room that looked kind of gross so we just kept our bags on it. I wished the waterfront was a bit more welcoming - we went early Friday morning and there was only one coffee shop with one employee and a line out the door. Such a beautiful harbor we were hoping it'd be more welcoming to strolling about!

Beautiful historic building The rooms are spacious and comfortable The entrance area is spectacular. Bathrooms are a bit outdated and frayed, but the vibe of the building makes up for it. Very close to a lovely walk along the Inner Harbor. It would be nice to have some USB charging ports in the rooms.
