The Heritage was an awesome place to stay at in Queenstown. We had a lake view room with a balcony and it did not disappoint as the views were spectacular. The room was very comfortable. The restaurant had a very good dinner menu and the breakfast buffet was also very good. The bar had a very good selection and had Allan Scott wines on tap. I used the hot tub and it was good although I would have liked it a couple degrees warmer. Parking in the garage was ample and safe. We walked to town one day and it is about a 20 minute downhill walk. I would not walk back as the hill is steep (ie reason for the great views). We took a taxi back after visiting town and it was reasonable ($NZ25-30). I enjoyed the hotel and would stay there again.

The rooms are getting a bit shabby the walls need a paint & the carpets need shampooing, overall very comfortable a bit over priced. A nice quiet area to stay, a bit out of the main CBD. The restaurant was fabulous, great staff

Nice place to stay, very friendly staff and clean room. This was my second stay here, it is great for the price. Walls between the rooms are very thin so you hear everything, but aside from that, pretty great stay!

Our studio unit has the lakeside view of Lake Wakatipu. It was very convenient to have a full kitchen and washer/dryer for our 4 nights stay. The place is very near and walkable to the Central Business District. Very quiet too.
