We always stay at Lakeview when we visit Te Anau for a hiking adventure. Typically, we stay in a cabin without a toilet, which is usually fine. However, because we had just come off a trip to Luxmore hut and the weather was atrocious, we upgraded to a room with a bathroom. Best decision ever! Love your work team Lakeside.

The location is excellent with the view from the units across Lake Te Anau to the mountains is probably the best in town. It is an easy walk to town and the Reception team are very friendly and efficient.

A fantastic stay! Though we only stayed for one night, it catered to our needs very well. The rooms were warm and clean, the bathrooms had been recently refurbished and were hygienic, and the beds were comfortable and soft. I would definitely recommend, 5 stars!

That it was across the road from the lake. We were however next door to a group of Chinese visitors who were laughing loudly and carrying on at 11pm, oblivious to the signs that says to be mindful of neighbor wanting to get some sleep. The after hours person in charge of the desk was very helpful! Came all the way from where he lived at 9 pm to assist us with some power cords as the only power outlet is across the room from the headboard of the bed, where I needed power for my CPAP (breathing) machine.
