Lovely hotel, with great rooms and a very friendly staff. Ideal for having a car and doing trips around Queenstown, but far from the centre. Clean rooms and clean (but very basic) bathroom, but the noise insulation is poor.

The bathroom had an extremely strong smell of mold, so much that we had to hold our breath when using it. Even after housekeeping cleaned the bathroom, the smell remained. It seems related to the building’s age and ventilation. The room itself was a bit dark with limited lighting but otherwise decent. On the positive side, the hotel has plenty of parking spaces and is in a convenient location. When we informed reception about the mold smell, they were polite and tried to help, but no other rooms were available for us to switch. Overall, good location and parking, but the room was dark and the persistent mold smell in the bathroom made the stay uncomfortable.

We came for the Queenstown Marathon and the hotel had put on all sorts of extras for runners(shake out run, free breakfast, mindfulness and loads more) really good vibe / entertainment all weekend. We will be back

The hotel is clean, a bit rustic, but this is an Intentional eco-flair. A good restaurant with a healthy breakfast options is on site, has a sauna too. If you rent a vehicle it’s a great location, otherwise you have to take a bus to town or walk for about 5 km. Busses are cheap and go every 15 min or so. Overall was a good experience

Nice place for a short stay.. welcoming staff.. Restaurant on site was expensive.. and they had a 20% surcharge on Public Holiday where everywhere is was 10/15%..needless to say we ate in town.

Our room was amazing, so stylish and comfortable. All the amenities were perfect and the hotel goes out of their way to keep our environment healthy. I wish we could've stayed longer. They even offer yoga classes. I would highly recommend travelers to stay at the Sherwood, Queenstown.
