The room was a shoebox. There was nowhere except the bed to place your bags. We had to put them in the alcove that the door opened into so we could walk around the bed. It was advertised as 20 something square metres but, for over $250 a night, it doesn’t represent value at all. The staff were disinterested at check in, just barely covering the absolute necessities and no chat or helpful hints etc. about the facility and the surroundings. At checkout the desk attendant just held their handout for the key, made no eye contact and no voice contact at all.

I booked a twin bedroom. It was a fire hazard with 2 people and no room for a small suitcase each. No room on bedside tables either. Sink was blocked which they did fix for us. How the hotel ever got permission to allow room of that size for 2 adults is beyond compression!

Staff was excellent but the rooms have seen better days - it smelled like Old Lady perfume was used liberally to cover up musty smell. The bathroom had peeling paint and mold/mildew growing over the shower. I can see that these rooms were once excellent but they’re generally tired and need maintenance / almost all the walls needed paint touch ups. The rooms were clean and bedding fresh, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was clean and the views were beautiful. Location is great, right on the lake across from the restaurants and star gazing tours. Parking area was full and difficult to find a space near the room. Overall, it was a very good choice to see and experience this beautiful lake.

The room was ùnsuitable for someone with mobility problems as the living space & kitchen were up 12 stairs & the bedrooms & bathroom downstairs! This was not advised! Despite being advertised from 6pm, we were refused room service until after 8pm as they "were too busy!" One of the venue's own vans was parked in the sole disabled person's carpark! Very disappointing for an upmarket accommodation venue!!
