*MUST READ* This is one of many reviews that I'll be leaving for this place as I'll be writing them on different platforms as well. This resort far exceeded my expectations as I read the other reviews prior to arrival, particularly the negative ones. Let me tell you, the negative ones are just completely irrelevant. I'm an American from Tx, I know what it's like to feel entitled, and that is all those negative reviews were.. They were entitled people who expected to feel like they were in the most luxurious place ever. As luxurious as this place truly is, it is no place for you to EXPECT luxury. If you don't want to eat meals in a beautiful tropical hut with nature (birds) around you, then do not come here. If you expect completely modern architecture with the newest model rooms and appliances, then do not come here. But if you expect the true island experience with beautiful older architecture, beautiful turquoise waters, along with the most beautiful people you can meet, then please consider this resort. The staff are some of the hardest workers I have ever met, not only do they work hard, but they do it with a smile on their face.. That is a luxury that I'm not used to back in TX. It truly is beautiful and almost makes me shed a tear thinking about them as we really do take so many things for granted in the US. They all speak excellent English but please have the respect to communicate with them in their language, even if you're not fluent. Thank you.

This place was the worst . Don't do it . Spend the extra money to book Melia two hotels down. The food was nasty. They only had buffets every once in a while . Birds were eating off the plates if you left to get up . They would eat off the spoons or tongs that were left by buffet when they had it . The pool was nasty green and pool bar was closed . They said it was closed because it's slow season. This is main reason I booked it . Tried to save money and it not me in the tail . I've been last three summers and usually stay at Melia resort. Beds were hard. Toilet tan all night. Had to jiggle handle . I was embarrassed I rented this and had to explain to my family members that this isn't normal.I don't leave reviews but I could wait to get back home and leave this one . Believe the negative reviews you read about this place .

We had a fantastic stay at Conzulmeno Beach Resort! The beach is stunning with clear turquoise water and plenty of shade under straw umbrellas. Our kids loved spotting sea creatures like baby rays, swordfish, sea urchins and different types of fish. They also enjoyed spending time in the pool by the beach. At night we often took a taxi to the center which is only 10 mins away. Huge thanks to the amazing staff—Paulino, Santiago, Carlos, Pedro, Fernando and Oscar—for their great service. Special shoutout to Alejandro, Eyahir, and Yaneth at La Veranda for the surprise birthday cake, David in the lobby bar for top-notch cocktails, and Manuel at the buffet grill for his delicious omelettes. An unforgettable vacation! We can’t wait to go back!

I've stayed there twice. Talk about a complete defference of stays. Something has changed, and don't suggest for anyone!! Besides for it's beautiful Beech, not worth it! All lies. Hotel stay horrible. Food horrific, no buffet, same menu ever single day. No buffet, no daily sandwichs/hamburgers/pizza available as advertised. Limited drinks. Paid specifically for all-inclusive. It is not. Told this was current off season. And limited service/food/menu. Never ever told or advertised this. And I've stayed there before. Expedia and every other travel companies should not sell, or advertise this hotel. It is that serious! Do not stay here!! I feel lied to, and extreme fruad occurring.

The beds are very uncomfortable (hard) as for food nasty gross lids left up or off of food and birds going and eating out of it or pooping in it We was getting out breakfast and one pooped on my grandson there was only one enclosed place to eat there but you had to wear pants (didn’t know you had to wear pants til we was already there) so who would be taking pants to 90+ degreee weather only air conditioning spot was your room, private dining where you needed pants and gift shop You couldn’t even sit in lobby and have a cup coffee read your book or anything had to stay in pool or in your room cause of no a/c
