Arthur at the front desk was an angel. We got there at 1230pm, check in wasn't until 4pm. After a 2 hour drive, my 74 yr old Diabetic husband was feeling poorly& I had an appt that I couldn't bring him to. He really needed to lay down. I asked Arthur how early we could check in. He said there was a $50 early check in fee, but if we waited until 2pm, no fee. He then called housekeeping & they said our room was ready, and he waived the fee, plus he gave me their famous, warm DT cookies! Customer service, with empathy, what a blessing!

Not a Happy Camper

Room was good but they placed us outside last room by the pool. When we arrived I asked for a room w/elevator use as my husband uses a cane & cannot climb stairs or walk long distances. Our room was outside, walk 4 stairs down! There was a loop to take to avoid stairs, but then extra walking plus trying to avoid tripping on garden hoses from maintenance! And we had to push the luggage carrier thru all of this!!!

This property was disappointing. My assigned room was a unit accessible outdoors (like a motel). The room smelled old and stale, the sheets and pillows were full of stains, and the walls had makeup fingerprints on them. You could tell it had not been cleaned properly or that some parts weren’t cleaned at all. The room was very tiny and there was no door to the bathroom so you looked at the sink from the bed. You could not close the door to the toilet and shower easily because there was barely enough room for you to step inside. Just not worth the price for an uncomfortable night.

Remote control did not work and could not get the TV off at night, so I slept with a Hilton Honors welcome screen up. Not a problem for me, but would have been one for someone who wanted to sleep in darkness. I did call down to the desk but no one picked up.
