It is a very convenient place to stay if you are visiting the Universal Property. I say limited dining, as there is the City Walk which has a bunch of chain restaurants. I would have preferred to see more local fair available. However, If all you care about is convenience than this is by far the most convienent place to stay.

Staff were not terribly friendly. we got a food order to go from Lobby Bar and Restaurant Took several minutes for the gal behind the bar to even take our order. However, it was crazy busy and she was by herself. The kitchen had no excuse. Took them about 45 minutes to get our 5-10 minute order completed.

Customer service was top notch. My room took a while to be available at check in but I was at a conference anyway so it didn’t matter much. However my mattress was so worn out I could feel the springs pressing against me. There was also a crack in the shower pan that would flood the bathroom rather immediately upon taking a shower. Due to the short stay I didn’t request a room change. But for over $300 per night, a simple shower is certainly something I shouldn’t have to sacrifice.

Nice hotel to stay at! Extremely family, friendly. I would recommend this to all my friends and family, who are thinking about going to Universal Studios Hollywood. The rooms are very nice and very clean. The bathrooms are clean and nice. They have updated TVs with Netflix. The breakfast is really good as well! This is my go to spot every time! Shuttles provided to theme park And back to the hotel. Book your stay here!

Overpriced but the experience was okay. The breakfast buffet was absolutely disgusting for the price. Everything else was good and food was excellent at surrounding restaurants. Hotel is run down, but pleasant staff. However, again the price gouging was absolutely insane.
