Upon checking in the entrance and exterior smelled. The walls were very dirty and mold was seen and clearly visible around the property. We immediately left once we looked in the room.

Great location, but very noisy inside and out. Building is very old so there isn’t much for noise barrier and everything can be heard. Staff is extremely friendly and informative. Rooms could have been a little cleaner, there was black mold in the shower. The only overnight parking close by was $60/night.

Our room wasn’t the quietest but we were also in the first floor and could hear people outside our windows. I think if we would have been on a different floor it would have been better. But the location was perfect… lots of breakfast and brunch within walking distance.. the hotel is clean..

The hotel itself is very clean and secure, and although parking is not on-site, it is only about a 5 minute walk away. You are able to stop in front of the hotel for a short while to unload your suitcase and then go park the car, which we found convenient. The hotel is right on the boardwalk and the beach is accessible from the front door. The only issue we had (which was no fault of the hotels at all) is that there is a bar directly across the street that plays loud music and the windows are not at all soundproof (the hotel does provide ear plugs which was nice). A nice addition to the room would be blackout blinds so that the lights at night and the sun in the morning don't disturb your sleep. Overall, for the price, I would stay here again.

The property is in a prime location and I highly recommend. The only thing i didn't like was the parking situation. Other than that I would differently stay here again.

Wonderful price and an excellent location!

We stayed in room #1 ground floor with a separate bedroom from the studio. Loved the location. Staff was very nice and helpful. The parking was a little inconvenient but it is what it is. Excellent price for the room and location being so close to the beach and a pub right next door. The pub was NOT open late so it was not loud late at night. The bed comfort was horrible though. My back was so sore after a couple hours sleeping on that mattress that it woke me up and I had to sleep sitting in a chair and leaning on the dining table. I don't know if my back would have made it a 3rd night.

Mattress is terrible

All the reviews you previously read are true! My back is in so much pain from the thin cott mattress pad on the bed. It felt as if I was sleeping on a wood bottom bed frame. It was not even a regular mattress. The floor need to be redone. No heat or a/c. Only had a regular floor fan and it was freezing in the room due to cold temperatures outside. Not a great experience. I could’ve dealt with it better if I had an actual mattress.

Good location, nice staff!

Great location, fantastic staff. The rooms are clean and have everything you need for a stay. Just be prepared to use the earplugs if you're a sensitive sleeper as the area has a bar across the road. But that's the only personal complaint - with ear plugs in it solved the noise issue. Gorgeous views to wake up to as well.
