Easy parking on site. Self check-in was a great feature. Room was spotless clean even the washroom. AC and TV worked great. Their hot tub was a nice treat after a tiring day. I just wish their pillows could be wider and more comfortable. The room could also use a microwave for guest convenience. Hotel is easily walkable to many shops and restaurants as you are right in the heart of Canmore. Overall nice stay!

Incredible location, very clean, and staff were extremely friendly. Really only a couple downsides to this place. The bed was terribly hard and uncomfortable and we were on the bottom floor and I’m not sure if we were placed below a storage/cleaners room or whatnot but starting at 5am everyday all we heard was constant footsteps and noise. Needless to say, we didn’t get much rest on our stay but who cares- we stayed in the most incredible location, it was clean, easy parking, and lovely staff 🙂

The view from our room was really beautiful. The room was neat and tidy, toiletries and towels are well enough for our stay. The only thing we didn't like is that they don't have a microwave and no extra garbage bag available.

Excellent location, very clean, amazing view, on the smaller side (queen suite), you can sit outside, but on a narrow walkway next to parking lot, and absolutely no house keeping after 4 requests. This was addressed to the manager who responded right after check out, so hopefully that won’t repeat itself. Just a note, no iron board on property if you are going to a wedding like us.

We loved staying at Lamphouse by Basecamp. Canmore was our favorite town to visit and stay in on our recent Canada trip, and this hotel was lovely! We even canceled a night somewhere else to come back to Lamphouse. This hotel is right off the Main Street and you only have to walk one block to the main pedestrian area. Everything is walkable and nothing is crowded unlike nearby Banff. We also couldn’t hear the train from this hotel. I really enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying my the views during the cool mornings and evenings. We definitely hope to come back!

It’s advertised as a hotel but it’s actually a motel on the street with no front office no check in person, no lobby nor any public area whatsoever. No one to talk to The room (which is all you get) is clean and nicely designed, compact, no closet. Our room had a weird bad smell (maybe feet) The staff kind and professional But this is not a hotel. You are just renting a room on the street

Hotel is in a very nice downtown area. I didn't like the self check-in, it was very frustrating. I cannot open the door because the door handle push up instead of down. I tried to locate Electric Wolf Cafe for Front Desk help but cannot find this mentioned Cafe.
