AC was very loud and sounded like a propellor going. Spoke with Manager Charlotte and she was very receptive. Gave us compensation and got maintenance to come fix AC. Found out multiple items got sucked up/lodged inside AC. Housekeeping is questionable. We found litter/wine glasses outside elevator not picked up for at least 2 days. Also, if housekeeping noticed that AC sounds different than they should alert maintenance to fix and not wait until people check in to question if AC is normally that loud. I lost 3 night sleeps due to this.

Only stayed here for one night, but it's very conveniently located to downtown. The space is clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and we were able to leave our bags here while we waited for our flight that was not until later in the afternoon.

I stayed at this hotel during a conference for work. The staff were excellent and I received a bed upgrade when I arrived, which I was really excited about! The hotel is conveniently located among food options and convenient stores and is located right on a downtown transportation route. All transportation within the downtown core of Calgary was all free on the bus line which I was also very thrilled about it made travelling back-and-forth to my conference a breeze!

Room was clean and spacious. The staff were kind and helpful. Easy check in. Convenient restaurant. Awkward to get to the parkade as only one of four elevators have access. Unfortunately the pool and hot tub were filthy and caused rashes for both our family members who entered.

I love the location as it’s just 1 block to work. I have stayed 8 nights over my last 3 visits. This end of downtown has a large homeless population on the sidewalks and you should expect being asked for money. Each visit the A/C was so old either it doesn’t cool the room below 21C or it’s so loud kicking on and off I haven’t gotten a good nights sleep. 2nd last visit I moved rooms and paid an upgrade due to a loud A/C. New room wouldn’t cool. This last visit I thought I found the right room. I paid for a king kitchenette as they’re supposed to be updated. The A/C broke down at 1am and sounded like electrical shorting/sparking. I was given a new room, a lower tier room, and finally got back to bed after 130 am. The room never got below 21C even being set to 16C. At least it was quiet. I managed a whole 5 hours of sleep. The hotel refunded 2/3 nights of parking in exchange. That’s not enough. In all 3 visits the showers never got hot. The best I could get was luke warm after running for 5-10min before getting in. By the end of the shower it is slightly warmer. Hot tub is excellent, though this last visit it had a lot of foam, typically a sign of a lot of oil and detergents in the water. This hotel doesn’t cut it at this price. Looks good and updated but the mechanicals are severely outdated. If I want to get a good sleep, I’ll be booking elsewhere and having a longer commute from the east end of downtown.

Great location in downtown Calgary—just steps from the train, riverwalk, galleries, and restaurants, making it easy to explore without a car. Check-in was friendly, and we were upgraded to a high-floor room with a nice city view. The room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable king bed, good air conditioning, and a handy kitchenette. Facilities include a gym, small pool, and jacuzzi—perfect after a day of walking. Service was generally responsive, and housekeeping was twice a week. On the downside, the shower water pressure was low, the on-site restaurant was average, and common areas could use an update. The surrounding area has some visible homelessness, as in many big cities. Overall, a convenient and comfortable stay with room for improvement in amenities and dining service.

Check-in was fast even if there was a long queue of people arriving. There were many staff assisting at check-in. Parking was most convenient and safe. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Only drawback was that the A/C was old and noisy.
