There are a lot of good things to say about this resort. The property is a comfortable distance from the airport. The beach is amazing. The resort is laid-out in a manner that makes everything easy to find and everything is well-maintained and kept clean. Our housekeeper was awesome and made sure that our room was in good condition each day.
However, there are some drawbacks to this resort, too. The biggest issue is the constant effort to upsell. Upon arrival, the check-in employee proceeded to cross-off various locations on the resort map where we could not go because we had not purchased their "Privilege" package. He also detailed various amenities that only "Privilege" guests could access. We could have upgraded, but it would have cost over $1,000 for our family of four for four nights. The biggest drawback was that - without this package - it was next to impossible to get reservations at the popular restaurants or during popular times. There were other upsell efforts that occurred during the trip, but the "Privilege" package was the biggest one.
To summarize, this is a good enough resort, but be prepared to pay extra if you want everything that you would expect from an all-inclusive.
