We booked two rooms next to each other. While one room was cleaned on time, the other was consistently left dirty for another 2–3 hours. If we asked housekeeping to come later because we were in the room, they wouldn’t return that same day, no matter what time it was.
The restaurants were fine, but the service from the waitstaff definitely left room for improvement.
The biggest disappointment of the trip, however, was the beach. There was an overwhelming amount of seaweed — stacked up to six feet high in several piles — unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. The cleaning staff appeared busy, but in reality, very little progress was made, and the smell carried across the entire resort.
Overall, this experience fell short of expectations and left us disappointed.
