We enjoyed our short stay at this hotel complex. Staff and service were very good. There were too many racoons running around the hotel lobby and also near the restaurants.

Generally, all was as it should be. Nice property, thoughtful staff, very nice and spacious room. Always areas for improvements - check in process is slow and needs simplification. Food was good and up to standard but not exceptional. All in all, I would recommend.

4/5 Everything was great about this property, from the wait staff, food options and cleanliness. But where this resort fell short in was the service for guests for their room. For example for the first 3 days basically more than half of the trip I kept telling the staff that our door doesn’t work and doesn’t let us in, times we would have to stay outside of our room for up to 30 minutes and a couple of times they said they called someone to check it out and no one ever did. The door for our room was very frustrating and us waiting til after check in time to get our room even though we arrived 6 hours earlier.

We had a great room, big one, with two queen beds. The bathroom had a full bathtub with shower, other separated shower, and a separated toilet. It was some issues with the toilet but solved right away. All staff were good and special Bernice from front desk, Eduardo from the pool bar were outstanding, professional and helpful. Food was amazing for all tastes. We had entertainment every single nights and enjoyed it. Excellent were activities around the pool too. Be aware that you have to book your shuttle from the airport to resort and back. We done through Expedia and it was around 120 CAD.

Would NOT recommend. The food was very bland and dry. There are like 2 good restaurants. Cockroaches in our room. Towels were like sand paper. Hardly any bars open during the day or evening. Limited things to do. Only 2 places open for lunch. SO many raccoons everywhere! They walked into our room when we were in there. They came and serviced our room two times a day which we felt was unnecessary as we felt we had to put away our things every time we left the room.

Jose in guest services was absolutely wonderful. So was Carlos at the guest services area and Gustavo at the pool bar. The hardest worker and friendliest man ever is Juan at Route 66/ Ocean burger. You see that man EVERYWHERE! And he always has a smile on his face and wonderful attitude. The entire staff at this resort were wonderful to be honest. Please check out the foam party on Wednesdays! The beach had lots of seaweed, not in their control and you got used to the smell in 2 days tops. Will definitely be back!!! Most people we talked to had been coming there for years and said it’s only gotten better each time.

This was probably the best customer service I’ve ever received in my life. The hotel had everything you could imagine, and the staff constantly asked if we needed anything while paying attention to every small detail. The pools, buffets, and drinks were excellent. Six days were not enough to enjoy everything the hotel has to offer. I 100% recommend it.

unable to get an uber from the airport to the resort a fee of 500 pesos for beach cleaning charged because the seaweed is bad and while there didn’t see a single person on the beach cleaning the seaweed, the beach STUNK and there were PILES of seaweed on the shoreline, Walking by the beach you had to hold your breath just to manage, The smell took over the whole resort, unless you were inside, had to take a taxi to their sister resort to actually use the jetski because their beach was NASTY and unusable, completely full of seaweed, food was just so so for a 5 star resort
