Little bit noisy, we could hear the lift pinging every few minutes and sometimes seconds. A lot of noise coming from other rooms and other floors, and outside (sirens mostly). So not much in the way of soundproofing. About a 5-10 minute walk from the majority of the bars and restaurants. Staff really friendly and helpful. Stored our suitcases before we left on the last day, and made sure we knew we could use the shower room to freshen up before our flight. All in all not a bad hotel at all.

We had a great stay as a family of four with two young children. The 24-hour front desk was very convenient, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a room with a separate living area and a bedroom with a king-size bed, and with a crib and an extra bed added, there was plenty of space and it was very comfortable. Although the bathroom and carpet were a bit dated, everything was clean and we didn’t find it inconvenient at all. The location was quiet yet within walking distance to the city center, which was perfect. The hotel also has a pool, and there's a playground just outside—great for kids. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

There is a lip and step onto the balcony, especially coming back inside where you step over the lip and then odwn as the room is lower than the balcony. Would be concerned about an older person. We put a chair there to remind us to be careful. View from room was great. Location to food and lagoon also excellent. Didn't use facilities as we were only there overnight.

There was only shampoo and conditioner in shower, no soap or bath gel. There was some handwash at basin locked down so couldn’t really jump in and out of shower to use that

Simple and up to date hotel. Very clean. Like the living room and bedroom concept. Balcony with ocean view. Feel more like living in an apartment than hotel. Convenient location. No safe in the room but the hotel is able to safe keep it for a token of 5 dollars. Staff are very friendly.

This was our 2nd time staying here with kids. Spacious and bright with a great view. Right accross from muddys playground and an easy walk down to the lagoon and night markets. Staff are friendly and helpful. Its affordable and this will keep us returning. Great stay.

Stayed in a 1 bedroom suite - great value. Reception staff friendly and efficient. Very comfortable sofa and bed. Lovely view over the Esplanade from balcony. Easy walking distance to hospitals, Cairns Central, Waterfront, cafes and restaurants. You can also use the pool and bathroom facilities after checking out - very handy if on a late flight.
