Highly recommend Crystalbrook Bailey for it’s convenient location, cleanliness and great customer service. Only downside would be the pool which is located in the restaurant and is quite small, the other pool is located in the residential building nextdoor to the hotel so is abit of a walk away.

We had a wonderful stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable! And excellent service from the staff if I needed something. Great location — so close to the esplanade lagoon and marina. I highly recommend this hotel. There are 2 pools in the property and a sauna too!

The bed was utterly sumptuous and the toiletries were spa like. The reception staff were so helpful and accommodating- we were leant umbrellas when it rained and they arranged with housekeeping for our room to be cleaned at 10:30 am every morning so we could come back after lunch and relax. We stayed for 14 nights and could have happily stayed longer.

This was my last min emergency hotel for the last 2 nights of a 3 night stay in Cairns because the hotel I originally booked was substandard. So the Crystalbrook Bailey was WONDERFUL by comparison. Only downside was the room was extremely compact, but well organized. I wh preferred 2 big bedside tables and more space on the bathroom counter, but we made it work. Coffee maker was espresso only, but they had a kettle and I pack my own coffee, sweetnlow & powdered creamer, so we made it work. I loved being in a corner room on a high floor with floor to ceiling windows

Breakfast was fine. The coffee machine rarely worked and in a place this size more than one machine is necessary. When the machine wasn’t available you had to purchase coffee from the bar. Everything else was fine.
