Hotel was well maintained. The place was kept very clean. They were able to cater to a request to have an extra guest over for one of our nights (for a fee of course). Reception responded quickly to our requests. We were very pleased with the hotel. It is located one block away from a main road with lots of restaurants.

Loved this stay

Great hotel, friendly staff and a perfect location for getting around Barcelona. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the on-site bar was great for a quick drink, snack or an evening meal. The breakfast was also wonderful and well worth adding on to your stay here. Will definitely be back again in October when we return to Barcelona

Travelodge Poblenou - A Couple’s Reviee

You know what you’re getting when you stay in a Travelodge. Both the bedroom and the bathroom were clean, simple and functional. No frills, but everything you’d expect of a basic-mid range hotel. The location is good, close to Llacuna Metro station and in the heart of Poblenou.

Some days we only had hot water, scalding. Some days we only had cold water, freezing. Some times, no water. It was a gamble, and it ruined parts of our trip. Other than unreliable water, it was okay.

Staff was great and unlike reviews had wifi all through hotel. Was a little spotty but nothing unbearable. Our hot water didn't work, but they happily moved us rooms, seemed to be a common problem. Allowed us to store luggage before and after check-in which was very helpful.

Rude staff and dirty bedding

Good - Generally fine as it’s a Travelodge Bad - No customer service, staff were very rude. Bedding sheets and towels were dirty when we checked in, we asked for them to be changed, the woman on the front desk smirked at us and said it would take 20mins. When we went back up to the room all they had done was remake the bed, and then argued with us that they had changed it. The stains were very specific and we had photos but still it took us getting the manager to come to the room to finally get us clean sheets and towels. Aircon doesn’t really do anything so the room was like a sauna at night (stayed in April).
