Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities
The bathtub/shower was not adequately designed to drain water appropriately. The water would travel to the side of the elevated bath area and fall onto the floor below, so after showering there would inevitably be a pool of water on the floor. I'm not sure if this is the reason for the drain beside the toilet but it's not as if the floor slants towards that drain either. The holder for the handheld water source also was broken (could not be tightened/properly adjusted) which did not help the case.
There was also a sticky spot on the floor near the bed by the window and ants were crowded on/around that spot, with a trail leading from the window. Many ants therefore got into my friend's backpack which she then had to abandon as it was impossible to ensure it was free of ants despite her attempts.
The deposit is also considerably high in light of the above defects. Lastly, the cafe by the main entrance was sold out of half of their bagel sandwich menu. The one redeeming quality of the hotel is that they have a shuttle that goes to the nearby Silom station.
