The room was spotless, lovely white sheets on the bed and included everything you needed, toiletries, kettle, even an umbrella. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Location excellent with taxis just outside. Lots of eating places nearby. China town a must 10 mins walk. First time to Bangkok and loved it but was ready to move on after 3 days.

This was a great location. You can get a quick ride anywhere. Or if you feel like it, there are also walkable malls, parks and attractions. The room was perfect for a few day stay. I stayed at the Mandarin Hotel in Bangkok for four days and five nights through a flight-and-hotel package. My experience started poorly due to an unkind and discriminatory front-desk staff member who refused my request for a higher floor and assigned us a musty, moldy-smelling room on the 4th floor. Despite trying to air it out, the odor persisted, and I experienced chest tightness and difficulty breathing the next day. After I complained, the hotel responded quickly and transferred us to a much better room on the 7th floor. From then on, the experience greatly improved. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff service was excellent. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of dishes and rotating fresh juices like pandan, jasmine, and cantaloupe. I also loved the Relax Spa, especially the Thai massage by Tawi Hong. The hotel is GRAB-accessible and convenient, though more concierge tour options would be appreciated.

Room is fine but had to wait for the room until 2pm. Inflexible despite early check in requested. Check in staff at Reception very unfriendly especially a skinny elderly lady. Many exemption liabilities papers need to be signed by and agreed by me when check-in . Never experienced in my life.Shocking ! Poor management style . Seems telling customers many accounts or operations problems occurred in this hotel. The skinny lady shouted me this is required by Thailand Government. There is better ways to handle this. Centre point should learn from other management company. It created poor impression from guests when checking in. Too many walking steps from Bell to Reception, Nobody helping in carrying luggage when arrive. Bell counter should relocate outside the driveway. They wait until guest carry luggages to there counter. Keep talking and playing mobile phone. unfriendly to elderly and handicapped people. Oversell by photos of the watched pool. No customer and service in the cafe . Staff hides behind cashier. Steps to the cafe unfriendly to elderly again. In the old days the cafe used to be a very popular place for night suppers with music. Poor management and marketing poor design in the lobby areas. Owner had motive to put a lot of money in term of interior design and furniture. A lot of improvements needed, there a a old culture or power base concept in operation. All chubby staff .

We enjoyed our stay but sadly for not feel that the hotel is a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was disappointing (The coffee from the machines was terrible. As vegetarians we were unimpressed. The pool area was very shaded and cold. Check in was good and prompt and staff were good but we felt lacked friendliness (All felt a little forced) The corridors are clean but needs decorating. Bashed skirting and door surrounds makes it lose a 5 star rating . The area surrounding the hotel was up and coming but you needed to walk a distance to get to where you wanted to be . We enjoyed it but. It our favourite stay
