This is a great hotel for single travelers or couples or friends even families. The pictures are true with maybe minimal details that not showing as in reality. Overall this is a great area with access to everything from party nights around the corner to easy access to scenic views as the Royal palace to walking around, walking distance to the river ferry that will take you to different areas including local markets. It’s located at Kohsan Road that as mentioned, has party life and also more “quiet” dining areas with all walking distance. Shopping is all around as well. You can eat a breakfast for a small fee or you can try out different places around the hotel. There’s a nice smaller pool area on the roof top and additional seating area. The rooms are big and have all you need including a safe. Bed could been softer but unless you have serious back issues it won’t be a problem. We slept 3 nights and could have stayed longer with no problems. Least but not last, the staff is amazing!!! Super friendly and welcoming and willing to help with anything that might come to mind. Good thing is it’s 24/7 hr staffing so we had no issues arriving at 2.30am, due to our flights. If you looking for a great place to stay but not looking for exclusive accommodation or expensive hotel, this is IT! Have paid higher prices in USA for nothing even close to what they had to offer here. This side of Kohsan is “quiet” and no issues sleeping. Yet all the party is just around the corner.

I can’t fault the hotel and it’s facilities (although the rooftop swimming pool was very cold when I was there!). The rooms were of a good size with comfy beds and great pillows and bed linen. The location was fantastic as it was just north of Khao San Road but you didn’t get any of the noise from the partying in that area. Great location for walking to the river side, the Grand Palace and also a short taxi ride to some beautiful temples. One negative is that the hotel manager could not allow a late cancellation when I needed to check out early due to a rescheduled flight. Frustrating and spoiled my overall experience of staying with them. Other than that, I would recommend the hotel for comfort, and if you want to stay near Khao San with its messy cannabis smoking travellers and bar-hawkers trying to wave you into their bars whilst blocking the street.

Having finished my tour around Thailand, and staying in various places including the Lebua State Tower, I can honestly say Dewan is the best accommodation in Bangkok/Thailand. The location is central to everything with great local food places, minutes away from the bars of Khaosan Road, and easy commutes to beautiful cultural sightseeing destinations. The staff are all incredible, with special shouts to Yo and Sea, and the rooftop pool is an exceptional touch for the room costs. Thank you everyone for an amazing stay!

Paid for a large room (32 sq mtr) given a small room (22 sq mtr) then repeatedly lied to by Front desk staff who told me it was large (except the lovley cleaner who said of course my room is small) The room size became irrelevant after the dishonesty of desk staff. Spoiled the otherwise good experience

Great stay

Such a great spot. Close to the party of Khaosan road without the noise of khaosan road. The staff were great and let use use the pool area while we waited to check in which was amazing after our 22 hours In transit. The room was clean and comfortable and had good amenities. Would stay again!

This hotel is very close to many bars and restaurants and therefore we loved it. But rooms are not soundproof as we were at the front and never managed to get to sleep till after 4.00 am each night. After three nights we were exhausted as we were up early doing things. Otherwise a beautiful hotel with really exceptional staff. Lovely spa onsite too.

Great place in a fun location - cold pool though!

We stayed here for three nights in late December and one night in late January. Both stays were great. Big rooms and a rooftop pool with a nice place to watch the sunset! The staff is so nice and friendly - we have a toddler and they called him by name all the time! My only complaint is that the pool was way too cold to swim!
