Side door entering the entrance to stairs up to 242 where i stayed was constantly being rigged open. Went on for hours and my son came over way later for a hour and the manager blamed him and told him he didnt belong their...hes 9yrs old. Do not do laundry there either i put a load over into the dryyer and watched somebody run down the hall with clothes, lets guess i checked all my wet clothes were on the ground scattered through. I called desk but i handled my own way. There were several couples smoking weed and crack in the halls at night and my rooms floor turned my socks bottoms tar black. The sink leaked underneath badly as well as the fridge.

I was very satisfied and pleased with my visit to the Brandywine River Hotel after an initial problem. When I went to the room that I was assigned, it appeared that someone was in that room. The beds were open with sheets and pillows scattered and on the floor and other items made it look like someone was still using the room. When I returned to the sign in desk, the representative apologized and reassigned me to another room that was clean and in very good condition.

We had isdues with our door not oprning nor closing. Got transferred to another room and parking comped. Staff were very helpful and appologized profusely. Would definitely stay again.

Our chicken was easy in the staff was very helpful and friendly. We truly enjoyed our day. It was our first time Wilmington and we will definitely be back to this hotel.

I was impressed from the time I checked in until I checked out. My room was on the 3rd floor, near the elevators and ice machine, which was nice as I am 77 years old and didn't have far to walk to either I took advantage of the complimentary breakfast both mornings and was impressed with the variety of items offered and the friendliness of the staff. I would definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

Great suites, sofa bed, table, kitchen with microwave. Great for one night or week. Has a pool.
