As with most hotels in the $50-$70 per night range there are bound to be pro's and cons...pro's are the location is fairly convenient after leaving the Cuomo Bridge, the first exit, then about 10 min. to the hotel in Orangeburg. The hotel is in a residential area, so feeling unsafe was not a factor and parking was free and plentiful. Cons...The kid at the front desk was friendly, but very uninformed...when I asked if the hotel had an ice machine, he looked stunned and had no clue and seemed to care less. So, after check-in I looked for one and found it on the first floor, but it was not working, so on a hunch I checked on the 2nd floor in the same location and VIOLA!, there was a working ice machine...but, since there was no ice bucket in the room I had to fill up a plastic supermarket bag and put it in my soft-cooler and then into the fridge...which luckily did work. The room itself was OK, I had stayed at the Armani before so I knew what to expect...no microwave, only 1 in the lobby for some reason...lame! The room carpet clearly had not been sufficiently vacuumed as I found left-over cheerios and some other weird stuff laying about. The bathroom was fine, clean and the shower was hot with plenty of pressure, but there was a crack in the mirror. All n All this place needs a major upgrade, seems to be dyin...The lounge downstairs looked like it was abandoned, reminded me of a post-apocalypse scene from a movie...But, as I said for cheap money, you can't expect much more.

The staff is so helpful and friendly. The hotel is fabulous. Close to downtown

Small but clean room. Nice size shower. Would like a slight more comfy bed but for the price well worth it. Average hotel breakfast experience. Parking very convenient $30 a day

bad communication about everything, from when the room will be made, whether it is on request only, can you charge food to your room, is gratuity included…
