I really was looking forward to this visit. The lobby/bar was very well decorated. Our room was so small that we had to out our suitcases in the shower area to be able to get around the bed. Location was great. Parking and check in was not efficient and was somewhat frustrating.

Excellent overnight stay

Great location where the property innovatively blends this historical building with modern decor. Room was immaculately clean and presented with comfortable bed. Buffet breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced when added to room rate at a discount. Staff I dealt with (Hui and Phong) were friendly, helpful and professional.

I don’t usually do reviews, but I have to give credit where its due. My stay was brilliant. Attentive friendly staff, good quality food, Spotless room. The only negative is that parking is a bit of an issue during the day as on site is limited. Would I go back? In heartbeat.

I have stayed at Naumi Studios twice now and it is consistently excellent value for money. Two things to note...the rooms are not air conditioned and due to its central location there is street noise. In the summer dropping the blinds snd opening the windows in the morning to prevent heat build up is a must. There is secondary glazing that can be pulled across at night which reduces the noise from the street. Located on Cuba St, Naumi Studios is perfect for being within walking distance of most attractions and dining options. The hotel is clean and the rooms are well appointed. There is a small roof top pool that can be used. The staff are conscientious, helpful and very friendly. There is a member of staff on the desk 24/7. I booked through Expedia for a very budget friendly price and based on the competitive pricing I would recommened Naumi Studios for the flexible traveller.

Great funky historic hotel right on Cuba St. Close to good food and shopping and everything is close by. Breakfast was great and this had everything we needed. We got off the last Interislander ferry in Wellington at 10pm. Quick taxi (10 min) to the hotel and it was another 10 min to the airport. We hung out at the Te Papa museum for the morning before our flight in the afternoon which was perfect and such and amazing museum. The hotel is an easy walk to the museum. So the hotel was great and had everything we needed!

Have stayed here many times. Room is small but comfortable. Nice bar downstairs. Very well located for Wellington attractions. Not happy that a NZ$100 per night was put on my credit card when I had already paid for the room. That is too high.

Great stay but they dont advertise that the room Doesnt have Aircon apart from a ceiling fan and rooms that get direct sunlight reach about 27 degrees inside. There is a lot of dust inside the rooms too Service and staff are great otherwise ok for short term stau

Gorgeous, comfy hotel in perfect location!

Absolutely lovely artsy hotel. Quiet and private, except when it got too hot and we needed the windows open to sleep - so did adjacent rooms :-D Not a common situation in Wellington though. Loved all the details in the room and the common areas. The twin beds were super comfy and the bathroom roomy. The hotel is located in a brilliant area for any foodies or those into eclectic shopping, and is an easy walk to multiple transport options, the main traditional shopping areas or the beautiful waterfront. Would absolutely stay again!
