Great hotel and great stay

We had a lovely stay here. On family get away from Auckland to show the kids the sights of Wellington. Room was great size and had kitchen and laundry tho didn’t need it had we stayed longer it would have been amazing. Pool and spa were great for the kids. Only negative was the room had little bid of damage on the walls in areas.

Great location and very quiet and comfortable

Loved the room layout and enjoyed fresh milk in the fridge rather than UHT pods. Next time I will bring my swimming costume.

We stayed two nights in a King room. It was very spacious, full size bathroom and a large kitchenette. Room was beautiful. Absolutely amazing customer service. Staff were lovely and super helpful. Loved the spa pool & sauna. Only inconvenience was no onsite laundry. Larger suites have washer/drier which i should have checked. dry cleaning was too expensive/unnecessary. Closest laundromat was a 20minute walk. Thank you so much. We will be staying again.

My stay at The Bolton was very good. The food was great, I loved the view from my room, and the staff were very helpful and kind. I had one problem: the washing machine, which was a key reason I chose the property, did not work properly. Three different times I had to call people to the room to fix the machine which had malfunctioned midcycle. On the last time, they took my washing away and did it for me. It cost me 4-5 hours in free time on my vacation dealing with it, so that was not great. They did comp my breakfast and some minibar water for the inconvenience. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. I will stay again, but I won't count on being able to do my washing.

Very good hotel in the city, very conveniently located just off the highway and without the need to get stuck in traffic. I arrived on a Sunday so I got to try the special Sunday Roast dining menu as well, very well portioned and nice restaurant setup. I also booked for the valet parking so it was really piece of cake checking in.
