Didn't have breakfast, so no comment. The major restaurant was closed, but the Peltonen had a simple menu and their food was excellent. Well done to who ever is in charge of Food & Beverage there

The Rydges is a gorgeous establishment and so convenient being at the airport. Unfortunately the reception staff member, Kiara was extremely rude, she wasnt hospitable at all, she couldn't process my bankcard and repeatedly said it was my fault and I didn't have sufficient funds and my card had expired. I showed her clear evidence that she was very incorrect. Luckily the manager came over and processed everything correctly for me. Luckily Kiara was the only bad experience i had in NZ. The Rydges is a gorgeous place to stay....just goodluck if you get that receptionist.

We often stay here when we are travelling. The hotel is comfortable and clean. We don’t have breakfast as we are usually on an early morning flight but have dinner which has been good. The staff are always helpful.

The room was nice and spacious with a sitting area. although a bit close to the elevator. My flight was delayed so I landed later than expected. With the hotel resultant closing at 9.30pm there are no other options at the airport. I would expect an airport hotel to have 24hr room service.
