Great stay, nice twin room, quiet, super clean and such a good location. Will be back.
It is perfectly located in Wellington CBD. We always stay here and highly rate it. The staff are friendly and helpful, as stated, perfect location and very clean and quiet. The price to stay is reasonable.
James Cook is in the centre of town close to all amenities.
There is always a taxi out the front of the hotel to take you anywhere you want to go if you do not wish to walk. If walking you are in the centre so all the shops and resturaunts are with walking distance. The waterfront is two blocks away with ferry's to various other small towns along the coast.
I usually stay here when in Wellington for a few reasons - the central location and access to Lambton Quay, the service and rooms and an excellent breakfast! The rates are very reasonable if you book early, and I always get breakfast included. My friend was very impressed!
