It lies 17 kilometres to the northeast of the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi.

If you journey 12 kilometres northeast from Tu Son, you'll come across Bac Ninh. Many travellers like to use this place as a base to visit the Bac Ninh Museum and the Kinh Bắc Cultural Center.

Want to visit the Hai Phong Museum, Hai Phong Opera House and the Du Hang Pagoda? Head to Haiphong, 80 kilometres to the east, and set up camp. These sights, as well as the Navy Museum and the Haiphong Museum, are all close.
