Our vehicle didn’t fit into the carpark. Too tall. Made parking difficult during the day. After hours was fine as there was adequate loading bays to park in.

Room was dirty and in need of a complete overhaul. Kitchen cupboards were broken and just placed closed. When opened the whole door fell off. Ac was smashed. Rubbish left behind in the room. Extra blanket was visibly soiled and had debris fly off it when we retrieved it. What appeared to be someone’s foot skin was on the couch and coffee table. Bathroom smelt like sewerage overnight. And the soap dispensers had dust and were dirty. Toilet roll holder coming off the wall and patched up holes in walls no sanding or painting done. I didn’t notice right away but the more I looked the more broken or dirty things I found. If I had not been so tired when we arrived I would have just left again. Beds were terribly uncomfortable. I reported to reception and all I received was sorry about that I will let someone know. Did not take down any details of what I had reported, acted very uninterested. I would not stay again. The location is great however. It is a little noisy due to the main road but that is to be expected. If they updated the rooms it was be a fantastic place to stay.

Clean and comfortable, gym was a little lacking in terms of weights, and there were little things like the chairs in the room had significant wear. A cover would fix this cheaply and quickly. Otherwise a seamless stay.

The next patron next to me was noisy rooms above air conditioning units noise all night paid over $500 for noise and room had no extras had to give an extra $100 for what?? Will not recommend. Annoyed with what I got for the money paid

I have stayed at the Oaks Gateway Townsville several times before and have always been impressed with the standard of service, quality of accommodation and location. This was my first time in a studio apartment and I was not disappointed. The room was spacious, in very good condition and had a fabulous outlook. Customer service is always a priority and nothing is too much trouble for Steven and Jamie on Reception. There are numerous dining options on Palmer Street and getting into the City Centre is a short and pleasant walk. I don't stay anywhere else when visiting Townsville.
