Great hotel for the price and right on the water which I’m sure is nice in the summer vs a polar vortex. The streetcar stops almost right outside and takes you right into Union Station. From there it’s really easy to get around. The beds weren’t the most comfortable but definitely not horrible. I would stay here again as air is great value for the rate.

Pleasant weekend getaway stay

The hotel is in a nice location along the Harbourfront with restaurants and attractions nearby. We had a spacious studio room with a nice view of the lake. Check in was easy. Front desk, cleaning, and maintenance staff were friendly and efficient. We liked the floor-to-ceiling windows, except we were on the second floor and people walking outside could see directly into the room, so we kept the window shutters closed most of the time and the blinds down at night. The HVAC was loud. The bathroom, which was spacious, could have used more fixtures or racks to hang towels, instead of just one hook on the door. Parking on premises is actually about $40 a day since they charge tax on top of the noted rate of $35, but they do offer in-and-out privileges and do allow you to park in the garage until 6 p.m. on the day of your check out.

The bad: Bathroom door hinge was very rusty. The turns in the parking garage are very tight and steep which makes parking difficult. You have to take 2 separate elevators to get to your room from the parking garage. There are no waste bins in the common areas. The bed was too firm. The good: It was clean and well supplied. Pretty convenient lovataion and I felt aafe the whole time.
