This is our second stay at this hotel. We stayed here quite a few years ago and had enjoyed the state that we decided the next time we stayed in Toowoomba we would stay in the same hotel.
This time we stayed in King, we previously stayed in the upstairs apartment. King is very spacious but does like a table and chairs there’s more enough to put one in so it’s odd that there isn’t one. There is a little outside area if you’re on the ground floor, which is lovely with a table and chairs but in the chilly weather a bit cold out there.
There are some issues within the room configuration though as they’ve placed a microwave in the room which the kitchen area was not originally planned for is my guess. The PowerPoint is to one side of the sink and it’s only a double so once the microwave is plugged in on that side of the sink there is no room for a toaster or kettle. Your options are either placed them on top of the microwave which I consider a safety hazard lifting boiling water from that height being that I’m quite short or run the power cord behind our water source kitchen sink which I think is quite illegal but you’re only option see photos. Problem is solved if there was a PowerPoint on the other side above the fridge there would be no issue because the microwave would be placed there. Well out of the way and toaster and kettle could go in the double PowerPoint on the other side.
Apart from the microwave issue, the cutlery and plates placed in the drawer dirty.
