The apartment was very comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed. Only downfall would be that in their welcome book they say that the pool is heated, kids got ready to swim and were very upset when we got to the reception to be told they turn the heating off over winter. That was disappointing, I would recommend putting in the book that the pool is not heated in winter to avoid kids being disappointed. Otherwise everything else was great and the receptionist was weloming.

A full size fridge with ice, stove top, microwave, dishwasher, parking at the front door with no stairs - access to a pool, restaurant and bar without leaving the premises. Find me something in this price range that is walkable to the city centre (we did) - will be back. Could work on the water pressure.

We stay here for the night when we had a concert that we were going on the parking is very tight and you only get one room key which is not the best when you would like to come back to a cool room be that room key also turns the power on in the room

Staying at Athena motel was good value for money for our last minute trip. It was clean and comfortable. There were a couple of things like a softer mattress that my husband didn’t like and the cigarette smoke easily passed from the front of our neighbours room into ours. The checkin although friendly, left me feeling a little awkward as no one was available to help me with several luggage despite travelling alone with children. Overall a good experience and would consider this again as it was good value for money.

This property was almost clean with good walkability to shopping centers and the hospital. Restaurant and bar were closed when we were there and there was no hint of a breakfast offer. We booked a studio apartment and while well-appointed it was a very small area. The entrance in and out of the Motel are off a very busy highway, and difficult to navigate. Pool area and sauna were very clean, and traffic noise was minimal. There was a tap going on and off all night which rattled through the apartment and was very disturbing.

Happily surprised.

Wanted to explore the area b4 heading to Gold Coast for a weekend seminar. Looks recently renovated. Comfy bed, good air con n shower. Parking just outside. No complaints . Got the smallest room as overnight stay. Polite receptionist. Did not use the pool or billiards table. Will stay again if visiting the area

The room was big and airy. It was well equipped and clean. My only concern was that we arrived at 5.35pm and the office closed at 5.30pm. We then had to contact the out of hours number to arrange our room.
