AC was not working and rooms were too hot. People loitering at the entrance and air filled with smoke. Drug paraphernalia in the parking lot. Desk clerk was super nice and helpful. That was the only upside. We chose to spend the night at another hotel.

Air conditioner in entire building not working. Room was hot. No effort was made to compensate for this issue. Not even free water. Drink machines were empty. Water at the restaurant was $4.50 PER 500 ML BOTTLE. the indigenous individual that was in the room beside us did not respect the quite hour rules, nor were they enforced. There was constant door slamming and load knocking throughout the night keeping my entire family awake all night. I made a complaint to the front desk, and they just shrugged it off. Did not care. Easily the worst hotel i have ever stayed in.

Room’s carpet was visibly dirty and in areas it was patchy wet. The room smelled of cigarettes and was musty, there was no air flow or air conditioning. The staff were friendly. This hotel is in dire need of inspection, my asthma has flared with this stay. Our Kids did not feel safe leaving early in the morning due to large number of intoxicated people out front doors. We left this place as fast as we could, and will never be back. Wish I could have canceled room and got reimbursed. Do not trust expedia reviews, look elsewhere, they were night and day.

Terrible Experience, Unhelpful Management

Booked this hotel twice, first stay was okay (other than the pool being closed) but the second was atrocious and completely unacceptable on multiple fronts. First of all, the air conditioning system for the entire hotel was broken, during a June heatwave. Secondly, the bathroom door handle broke upon closing the door (we did not even touch the door lock or anything), locking my family member inside. Maintenance took twenty minutes to get the door open, and when we reported this to the front desk, we were informed that this had happened before, and an incident report would not be filed (merely noted down in the shift log). When we asked to speak to a manager, we were told that all three managers were away right now, and would not be returning until more than a week later. They gave us three business cards and told us we would have to contact the managers ourselves, after they returned to work, if we wished to pursue the issue further. This was a terrible experience, and one I hope is not shared by others in the future.

Staff were friendly and courteous. Rooms were old, flooring was falling apart and sticky spots all over. Cooling system didn’t work but we were offered a small fan. Would not recommend especially for the price. Seriously disappointed.

Property was clean and felt safe. Excellent restaurant on site. Pool area looked nice but we didnt use it. Room was dated and could use an upgrade. Bed was too soft for us and the pillows were thick and uncomfortable. Our neighbor had a very loud visitor at 10 and again at 3 in the morning. Walls seemed thin as the TV kept us awake in the early morning hours.

The room & property was good, except the A/C was not working in our room. The 1st day was OK, since the temperature was only 20C. The next day was 32C, and with no A/C in room was very uncomfortable. NOT HAPPY.

This hotel in its day would have been amazing. It is huge, had a pool and was a convention centre but it has seen better days. The staff were very friendly. You can tell they are doing things to upgrade areas but when we got there we were told the air conditioning was down throughout the hotel. Then we got to the room and you could smell smoke and it was kind of musty smelling. It was supposed to be a non smoking room. Plus there was stains on the floor. To be honest we would have moved to another hotel but it was late and we had driven over 9 hours so we stuck it out. We were supposed to stay here on the way back but we have cancelled and will stay somewhere else.

Property looked nice, easy to find. Our room on the third floor looked nice and clean, except it was boiling hot. There were no working AC in the room. The front desk staff did not disclose this when I was checking in. She watched me haul all our luggage through the construction zones inside the property, but did not mention that the room ac was broken on this very hot day. We could not stay there, as it would have made us, and our dog sick. I dragged all our luggage back downstairs and canceled our reservation. Not a good experience. Make sure that you verify that your room has working climate control before you haul everything upstairs.

Shuttle is not guaranteed, you can not make a reservation and you are dependent on whether an authorized driver shows up. In our case they did not and we were scrambling to get to the airport. No Air Conditioning. Broken microwave.
