Forest park is an ok hotel, nothing amazing. My stay went well until the moment I checked out. At check-in they charged my card for the full amount of the stay + a deposit, and although they said it was just a security deposit, the amount was charged from my account immediately. Then at check-out they charged again for the full amount of my bill ($2000}, and said it wasn't a double charge and I would be refunded. This was on the 30th August and I'm still waiting for the refund. This affected my finances and the rest of my holiday in Canada. Very upsetting and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! Impossible to contact them as there's no contact email on the website, only an online form, which I used a week ago and still have no reply.

This hotel has great history. But no Ac, TV or refrigerator. The main area is woderful and where we spent all of our time. The hotel room was bare and bathroom/shower was small. It would be helpful if there was at least a shelf or hooks in the bathrooms so we didn't have to put everything on the floor.

This was a lovely hotel, clean room and friendly staff. We ate dinner in the restaurant our first night there and it was very reasonable and delicious. There were chairs and a fire pit out front with a beautiful view of the mountains, which was so relaxing after dinner. We would stay here again for sure!

Cozy and warm

This hotel is beautiful! There are two cozy dining areas and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location is great as well - nearby stores and restaurants are within walking distance and hikes are 10-15 minutes away. My room was surprisingly upgraded when I arrived and the beds were extremely cozy. I would highly recommend and would love to be back in the winter time!
