Very spacious room for the price, good for friends travelling together. The presence of a desk in addition to the table/couch was very useful for our group. Fridge left something to be desired—the bar-fridge style open freezer froze the milk our friend brought for his coffee/cereal even when it was in the door. The sink pipes in our bathroom seemed to be leaking a little, but not enough to be a concern so we just put down the bathmat and didn't worry about it. Only real problem—smoking seems to be allowed in outdoor areas, which is a big problem if you want to leave your window open for fresh air (especially in the bedroom where there's no air con). Seems like a weird choice for a place with so many families staying :\

Room was clean and nice. Linen, towels and soaps, coffee supplied very good. Beds were good to sleep in. Sadly some crockey and cultery where missing or in short supply. Perhaps taken by previous occupiers The Airconditioner is probably in need of a service as it worked but the air was not cold and would not response to the remote.

I stayed in this room on rent and had a very good experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The place was quiet and well maintained. Everything I needed was available, and the environment was safe and pleasant. The owner was helpful and cooperative. Overall, it was a good stay and I would recommend this place to others."

The shower was filthy, beds had no doona covers, just a sheet thrown over the bare doona, toilet didn’t flush properly, toilet paper comes out of a dispenser 2 single ply sheets at a time.. spiders in beds.. carpet had been very quickly vacuumed but not thoroughly at all.. the room didn’t have that fresh smell like it had been cleaned recently. It has potential to be great, but needs more attention in the housekeeping department.

The lay out of the unit was really nice and worked well for our family and it was cleaned on a surface level but it hadn’t had a deep clean for a very long time. There were cobwebs in the rafters, garbage left from previous guests under the single bed and in the bed side tables and the blanket had old blood stains on them while the shower door didn’t work properly. The carpet and drapes and had seen better days and were also in need of a deep clean. We really wanted to love this place as it was so convenient for us but unfortunately we couldn’t. So much untapped potential

Staff person at reception was really nice. Room was dated but clean. The bed was comfortable. Good Wi-Fi. It was good for one-night and was the cheapest accommodation I could find during Spilt Milk festival.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa (#279). The unit was very dirty. Mouldy curtains in one of the rooms, very dusty around the skirting and carpet. It hasn't had a proper clean in a very long time. We have stayed at Sundown many times previously and it's never been this bad. Even though the villas are looking a bit tired and in need of refresh, they are comfortable, spacious and location is quiet and close to shops.
