The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. Compared to other HI Express hotels I frequent, the room in the Terrace hotel was a bit rough around the edges with bubbled paint, stains on the lampshade, and a big gouge out of the bedside table. Otherwise, a good experience and I really like the lounge area on the main floor and the business center available.

Mixed feelings about this stay as well. While I was out for dinner, there was an attempt to break into my room. Although they damaged the lock and door, they did not get in thankfully and thankfully, I wasn’t there for that. On the flipside the hotel is nice. Staff is nice and breakfast is great.

I was staying at the hotel for work travel. My first terrible experience was breakfast on day two of my stay. The last time I stayed here, the staff at the breakfast room were so helpful; this time, when I asked for eggs without cheese, the staff said that the menu was fixed and that there was nothing they could do for my dietary constraints. The third morning I was turned down as well. The worst part, there was a minor hockey team staying in the hotel and the children were permitted to run up and down the hallways until past 10pm. When I called the front desk, they said they will look into the issue. I'm terribly disappointed and will be looking to stay at another hotel for my next trip to Terrace.
