Book Taharano hotels

This is a great place for stay in Hakone, traditional Japanese onsen house, we ordered the room and board for two nights, and it's a great experience. Both the public and private onsens are great and we have tried both. The location is also quite convenient, could walk to the Kowakidani station, both bus and train. Their hotel service is also great, family style, from the moment you entered, there is no need to wear shoes, because the whole hotel is connected in a way that you could either by bare foot or their sandals.

Beautiful location with comfortable beds and a lovely patio based onsen. Shuttle to Gora didn’t run early in the am but a 3 minute taxi was very cost effective. The stairway to gora turned out to be too steep for us. 10/10 would stay again

Amazing service, staff spoke fluent English and were very accommodating. The free amenities and hot springs were incredible. I would love to visit again in the future.

This was a wonderful stay! The private in suite onsen was fantastic. The rooms were spacious and super clean. Staff were wonderful! Dinner and breakfast were some of the best we’d ever had. Definitely coming back.

We booked the condominiums as a treat. Spacious by Japanese standards with two large single beds, large sofa and kitchen facilities. Highlight is the bathroom with your private “onsen” the bath runs constantly with warm water from the hot springs. Divine after a long day. Coffee machines, soda machines, ice pops, foot bath, fire pit and free whisky, sangria and beer from 7pm - 10pm with some small sweet treats. A short flat stroll from Gora station makes this a perfect place to stay to explore the Hakone area.
